Who: Residents of Woodland Park and surrounding communities are invited!
What: The 3rd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Pub/Food Crawl in Woodland Park!
When: Saturday, March 14th at noon, come snow or shine.
The Crawl will continue until closing hours Sunday
at the participating vendors.
Where: The parade will start on Henrietta Ave at Memorial
Park, turn right at Fairview St., left on Midland Ave.,
and right onto Baldwin, finishing at the intersection
of Baldwin and Pikes Peak Ave. in front of Gateway
Elementary. Pub/Food Crawl stamp cards will be
available for purchase at a designated table in front
of the Cultural Center directly before and after the
parade.
Why: To foster a community celebration of Saint Patrick's
Day and the Wearin' O' the Green

Our 2019 parade was able to make a $400 donation to local non-profit DayBreak - An Adult Day Program, as chosen by our Grand Marshals. Thank you for helping to make year 2 a success!
Our first 2018 parade was able to make a $276 donation to local non-profit A Willow Bends, as chosen by our Grand Marshals. Thank you for helping to make our first event a success!

Registration for school groups is free. Entry monies cover the costs of insurance, advertising, banners, etc. Excess funds collected will be donated to the Teller County non-profit organization chosen by this year's Parade Grand Marshals - DayBreak.

Parade Grand Marshal
The results of the vote are in - the 2020 WP St. Patrick's Day Parade Grand Marshal will be Mr. Doug Zurek. He is Coordinator of the Watch D.O.G.S. program in the RE-2 School District, and he is highly involved supporting our schools and local organizations. His non-profit of choice is Base Camp Recovery Woodland Park.
Runners-up are Dan and Susie Bradley, local small business owners and supporters/sponsors of local youth and high school sports. They will be the parade Grand Marshals for the 2021 WP St. Patrick's Day Parade. Dan has volunteered countless hours in the capacity of coach in different sports, and Susie is a local Zumba teacher, certified life coach, and local dental hygienist. Their non-profit of choice is the Woodland Park Hockey Association.
2019 Co-Grand Marshals were Cord and Lizzie Prettyman. Their non-profit of choice was Daybreak: An Adult Day Program.
The Parade Grand Marshal(s) will 1) choose the Teller County non-profit organization that extra parade proceeds will be donated to from a pre-approved list of legitimate local non-profits, 2) judge the entries prior to the parade, beginning at 11:30 am, and 3) be in the lead vehicle of the parade to open the event.
Pub/Food Crawl
We will also have a Pub and Food Crawl in conjunction with the parade. Participants will purchase a $5 stamp card from the designated table in front of the Cultural Center the 30 minutes before the start of the parade and 30 minutes after the end of the parade. *** WE WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO ACCEPT CASH *** This stamp card will entitle you to ONE discount or food/beverage special at each participating vendor. Deals will be listed on an accompanying flier at the time of purchase. These deals are valid until the end of the day/ the vendors' closing times. Proceeds from the Crawl cards will be added to the donation made to the chosen non-profit for the year.
2019 participants were McGinty's Wood Oven Pub, AJ's Pizza, Gold Hill Theatres, Carmen's, Mountain View Yogurt Plus, The Historic Ute Inn, Joanie's Deli, Judge's, and Bierwerks.
